Vadstena is known for its cultural and historical sites.
What is not so well known is that quality shopping can be enjoyed here as well. Culture
During the summer half of the year, everything from high classical opera and theatre performances to rock concerts such as Rhapsody In Rock and Diggiloo are performed at Vadstena Castle
If you are interested in history, you have certainly come to the right place! Go on one of the tourist bureaux’s guided tours around the town! There is an interesting museum with everything from toys and tractors to Gustav Wasa, Mårten Skinnare, the Convent and Saint Birgitta.
